  7. The VLS family of robotic autochangers includes models for 4mm DAT, 8mm, 1/4"
  8. cartridge, and optical disk drives and media.  The 4mm or 8mm models provide
  9. up to 120GB of storage (with 2:1 compression) at throughputs/rates up to 120
  10. MB per minute.  The option of dual drives allows data management software such
  11. as Legato NetWorker to backup multiple networked systems simultaneously, or
  12. one user can be backing up data to tape while another is restoring.  A locking
  13. front door provides security while a user control panel and LCD display show
  14. status and provide easy configuration and diagnostics.  The removable magazine
  15. with cover makes media storage and organization far easier than with
  16. individual tape cartridges.
